DAB510 WEEK 9: Volatile Bodies - An Analogue Series Model Construction

Here are some basic photos of my model and the pieces which I laser cut to construct it. I used epoxy resin to combine the perspex pieces and the MDF pieces, and PVA glue to join all the pieces of MDF.

DAB510 WEEK 9: Volatile Bodies - An Analogue Series Model Piece Development

This week's task involved building a physical model which was operable. I decided that because my drawings were at a somewhat developed stage, I would use the laser cutting machines to produce the model.  I just had to guarantee it would be operable. I began the process by creating the pieces in Corel Draw. I chose perspex and mdf as the materials as I felt they would best represent the real life materials.
